I’ve been ferociously re-reading all of my favorite Drakken/Shego fanfics (and some new ones- to my delight, I learned that there are ACTUALLY some I somehow haven’t read over the past 15 years. Not enough tho.)

I wish this ship had more of a fanbase because it always has been and always will be one of my favorite ships of all time, and something about DrakGo makes fanfic writers go God-mode and write some of the best romance literature you’ll ever encounter in your existence. It still feels exciting to me even this many years down the line.

Also @bcbdrums your content has been my fucking lifeline over the past week- absolutely DELICIOUS drakgo shipping 😚🤌🏻

Kim Possible movie So the Drama 20th anniversary.

Maybe not in front of strangers at a public karaoke bar... but singing a duet in private; it kinda makes you feel like you're on cloud nine, doesn't it? Took a moment today to let out some steam by finishing up this WIP I had laying around for ages while listening to my 'karaoke for on the road' spotify list. 'Our Love' by Curtis Harding ft. Jazmine Sullivan, 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough' by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell and 'Accidentally in love' by Counting Crows to name 3 from the top of my head.

It's just fun to sing and not to worry about whether or not you're good at it!

Random Kim Possible Post-Show Headcanons (bc why not):

controversial one but Ron’s worst fear comes true and he and Kim break up after high school

Kim bails out on college last minute (much to her parents disappointment) to take a job with Global Justice, while Ron stays behind to focus on school and work

Nothing happened, they just drifted apart while doing their own thing and after trying to make it work long distance, they both agreed it was time to part ways (mirroring what happened in a sitch in time)

Shego becomes a sort of mentor for Kim during this time, offering advice when her problems/enemies are no longer black and white (Kim discovers global justice is actually super shady and Shego’s like uh yeah, “why do you think I rebelled against them, Kimmy??? They’re the reason I’m evil.���)

And Ron befriends Mr. Barkin, of all people. But in that weird age gap work friend kind of way. Barkin no longer treats him like a student and instead treats him as his equal, even having a few beers with him and some other coworkers on occasion (while also emphasizing the dangers of alcoholism/DUIs bc, at the end of the day, Ron’s still just a kid and Barkin is still very much a responsible teacher just trying to guide him to do what’s right)

Eventually (obviously) Kim and Ron drift back into each other lives after a few years and get back together

Drakken briefly joins the good side. After his 5 seconds of fame are up he returns to villainy, though noticeably less of a threat than the newer villains arriving

He’s not quite retired, but also not as “bad” as he once was

Years later, he gets a sort of renaissance when a younger audience discovers Rappin’ Drakken and he becomes TikTok famous (he’s been “cancelled” a few times but always bounces back)

Shego’s image tanks after Graduation, so she ventures out on her own for a while to try to regain her evil rep

But finds her way back to Drakken after admitting to herself she wants something a little more than just world domination

Shego helps her brothers and Kim form a less corrupt system where Heroes aren’t exploited for profit and Villains are defeated more ethically, creating a level system that prevents powerful heroes from defeating/killing villains who are lesser than them and vice versa

Shego’s in charge of keeping the villains in check while Kim handles the heroes. They make sure the system is balanced

Drakken: Look at this otter taking a nap during visitor hours, Shego. Doesn't she remind you of someone in particular, hmmm? Shego: Uh-uh yeah, and oooh! So does this penguin that's hacking up-- wait, are those the keys to the hovercar!? Drakken: *frantically patting down his pockets* !!! Shego hold my camera!!! *leaps into the habitat to fight a penguin and then proceeds to get pummeled by four of them* Shego: Wow Dr. D, I've got to admit that you were right; The Zoo is fascinating! I mean-- Penguins that know martial arts? Who knew! *snaps a picture*

He threw useless blueprints to the ground as Shego wrapped her arms around his shoulders. 

“If it’s any consolation, Kimmy isn’t gonna be so cute and peppy for at least a week,” she laughed, leaning her head against his. 

“She defeated me again, Shego.” He didn’t see much reason to feel consoled. 

Her laugh turned into a girlish giggle. “Yeah, but I definitely broke her nose with that last punch. Doc, you should have felt the crunch.”

He couldn’t help smiling at the grin on her face. “You scare me sometimes, Shego.”

She planted a kiss on his cheek. “Good.”
